The PRCA Exceptional Rodeo is an annual event that allows kids with varying degrees of disabilities to participate in the rodeo. Kids, decked with cowboy hats and boots, mount real horses and makeshift bulls while interacting with professional rodeo athletes. This event provides an opportunity for the kids to forget their disability and feel like a cowboy for a day.

Brandie is a native of Torrington, Wyoming. She now lives on a ranch east of Cheyenne (Carpenter). This is her third national finals. Brandie rides a seven-year-old horse known as Slim. Hall’s career earnings total more than $650,000. Brandie trains all her horses from birth. She calls Slim “the man.”
Jhett was named for the James Dean character in “Giant” and the biggest Johnson brings to mind steer wrestler or maybe linebacker more so than the physical image of a roper. But roping is Jhett’s livelihood and he is among the best professional heelers in team roping today.
